Chocolate brownies with Avo
These chocolate brownies are super delicious and perfect when avo's are in season!
Ingredients
1/2 cup Nomu Skinny Hot Chocolate
3/4 cup cake flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 ripe avo
1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup Canola oil
1tsp Vanilla Essence
1/4 tsp baking soda
1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius
2. Mix the cake flour, hot chocolate and salt together in a mixing bowl.
3. Puree the avo in a food processor
4. Add the sugar to the avo and process.
5. Add the eggs, oil and vanilla essence to the avo mixture.
6. Pour the avo mixture in the dry ingredients and stir to combine.
7. Pour the batter into a square baking pan and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until the top is dry and a toothpick comes out with large crumbs attached to it (make sure you don't overbake it as it will be too dry).
8. Chill the baked brownie mixture for a while after cooling to make it easier to cut.
9. Cut into desired size and amount of pieces and serve.
* Using a bread pan can leave the brownies a bit to 'gooey' (slightly raw), so a bit longer baking time may be required if you prefer it to be drier.
* These brownies have a rather high fat content, so eat in moderation ;)
